Job Description

Working as part of our Industrial division, at our new facility at Bournemouth International Airport, Curtiss-Wright is looking for an Internal Sales Administrator (German speaking) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, with the opportunity for an immediate interview and start dates, working directly for the company. Your Challenge



  • Undertake Contract Review for customer orders to ensure all aspects are correct, including price, profitability and delivery dates.

  • Load customer orders on the Syteline system and acknowledge the order back to the customer

  • Implement minimum order quantities/order values as required and as advised

  • Monitor customer orders and seek new orders from customers when necessary

  • Deal directly with customers, distributors and representatives over the telephone and via email, responding to enquiries and requests as required

  • Raise quotations to customers as required, observing departmental approvals

  • Support the external sales teams as required through generation of customer quotations and provision of sales and customer data as required

  • Liaise with the production facilities to ensure requested customer lead times are reviewed and achieved where possible

  • Support any forecasting activities as instructed by the Internal Sales Manager

  • Answer external telephone calls coming into the department as required

  • Assist in general internal sales support and administrative activities in the absence of other members of the sales team

  • The day to day processing of customer orders and requests

  • Working as part of a team, provide administrative support to customers and members of the sales team, both internal and external as required

  • Ensure compliance with all Quality Management Systems requirements

  • Maintain filing systems within the office

  • Perform other tasks that may be required as directed by the Internal Sales Manager


Your Expertise:



  • Excellent communication skills in German and English

  • Proven experience in a similar position with proven adminstation and customer service skills

  • Strong IT skills including MS office, Outlook and Excel
