The Opportunity |Inside Sales Specialist


Under general direction, serves as a Sales Representative dealing with internal and external customers including operations and vendors on day-to-day business matters. Responsibilities may include reviewing and processing requests for quotations, diagnosing customer's needs, selecting products including product conversions, interpreting engineering specifications, determining materials needed on projects, obtaining bids from vendors and/or contractors, writing and submitting final quotations in accordance with established guidelines, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely execution of order fulfillment. 



Your Challenge:
 



  • Identify new opportunities that will grow sales revenue within target markets.

  • Manage opportunities and accounts from discovery through generation of sales revenues.

  • Coordinate activities with field sales team.

  • Participate in sales presentations as needed.

  • Coordinate with other departments as necessary to obtain product information.

  • Participate in and support continual sales process improvement.

  • Provide exemplary customer service. 


Your Expertise:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience

  • Two (2) years selling technical products in comparable markets

  • Previous experience in an inside sales capacity

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrate to have strong customer services skills

  • Knowledge of costing/pricing

  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office

  • Ability to carry out all activities in a disciplined and professional manner

  • Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and have flexible hours.

  • Experience and knowledge of selling in industrial manufacturing industry
