The Opportunity | Inspector
Location: Middleburgh Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)
This position is a full time, permanent opportunity that requires travel for training. All candidates must be able to travel out of state for training. We offer competitive wages and have a sign-on bonus available for all qualified applicants.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacturing of products. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Responsible for accepting, rejecting and ordering rework of the item.
Your Challenge:

  • Performs a variety of inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures utilizing calibrated test equipment.

  • Verifies conformity of items that are produced by the manufacturing organizations using approved procedures.

  • Verify quality of product at the required intervals and verify accuracy of all work.

  • Assist other personnel as required.

  • Assist engineering in testing to verify capability of new products under development.

  • Communicates with Quality Assurance Management and Engineering Management on the nature of any item that may not meet acceptance criteria.

  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
Your Expertise:

  • 2-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Technical/Trade School Preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate with others

  • Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
