The Opportunity | Manual Machinist

Responsible for the operation of conventional machine tools within a given manufacturing department. The individual will perform set-up activity on non-complex configurations. The individual shall be able to perform quality inspections to own work and make adjustments as required working with supervision.

Your Challenge:

• Ability to operate machines within a given manufacturing department.
• Set-up machines for simple operations and complex operations with assistance of Manufacturing Leadman or Manufacturing Supervision.
• Responsible to maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Blueprint reading

Your Expertise:

• 2+ years of experience in a manual machinist role.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Shop mathematics and Trigonometry Skills.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Due to the nature of the work performed at this facility, this role may require a DOD Government security clearance. Incumbents must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance while employed by this site.

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
