The Opportunity | Manufacturing Supervisor

The Manufacturing Supervisor supervises the development and implementation of activities in the production area(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on production introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

Your Challenge

  • Assign and supervise the work on production employees to meet all quality requirements and production schedules

  • Review schedules and adjust workflow to meet schedule requirements and minimize downtime while ensuring that work assignments are performed to manufacturing and quality procedures.

  • Enforce company policies, safety rules, and good housekeeping. Taking appropriate corrective actions when necessary.

  • Evaluate performance of all employees, and take corrective action when appropriate. Interview applicants and make recommendations on the hiring of new employees.

  • Manage direct and indirect labor costs.

  • Arrange for maintenance repairs of equipment and tools.

Your Expertise

  • High School is required, Associates Degree preferred

  • Knowledge of IPC610

  • 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing supervision environment, preferably in Defense Contracting.

This position may require exposure to information that is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
