The Opportunity | Marketing Automation Specialist

Our Dublin facility is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Marketing Communications team. The Marketing Automation Specialist will develop, schedule, administer and deploy email nurture, promotional and account-based campaigns ensuring all campaigns are executed on time.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns, retention, loyalty strategies, cross/up selling promotions and the buyer's journey. They will have a solid understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting against key performance measures.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing automation solutions and identify automation opportunities.

  • Plan and map the buyer journey/demand waterfall to optimize campaigns through use of sales and marketing systems including Pivotal CRM, Predictive Account-based Marketing, and Oracle's Eloqua Marketing Automation system

  • Leverage A/B/N testing and analytics techniques to optimize email campaigns.

  • Clearly communicate requirements and capabilities to other teams with a strong focus on internal customer satisfaction and external customer experience.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to coordinate, launch and report on campaigns

  • Segment audiences, analyze data and optimize campaigns to increase effectiveness

  • Ensure compliance to email regulations including GDPR, CASL, CAN-SPAM Act, etc.

  • Assist with implementation of new automation software as required.

  • Generate and analyze monthly and quarterly reports

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing as required.

  • Coach marketing team members to advance their marketing automation skills


  • Experience with enterprise level Marketing Automation Systems and CRM tools.

  • Good understanding of Eloqua Business Insights and Google Analytics.

  • Good understanding of databases and system integrations (CRM, Marketing Automation Systems, Artificial Intelligence tools, etc.)

  • Understanding of Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; including a bias toward action.

  • Process-oriented - both in following existing processes as well as creating new ones

  • Knowledge of industry best practices for marketing automation and the ability and desire to learn new tools quickly

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Clear understanding of data management and audience building efforts.

  • Strong analytic problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects.

  • Strong knowledge of data compliance on GDPR/ CASL and related legislation.

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.


  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience with Oracle's Marketing Automation Platform (Eloqua)

  • 2-3 years of data analytics/data mining/segmentation experience in B2B environment

  • Buyer Intent Monitoring/Predictive Account Based Marketing system experience would be an asset

  • Project Management experience required

  • Up-to-date on the latest trends, best practices, and governances in marketing automation
