Job Description

The Opportunity | Office Manager

Under direction of the business unit manager and site controller, the office manager is responsible for organizing and managing support for operations, accounting, and human resources. The office manager must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and have the ability to multi-task. In order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency, some of the responsibilities of this position include facilitating the process of employee onboarding and off boarding, managing supplies and equipment inventory, assisting with payroll and benefit administration, and serving as the site-wide point of contact regarding corporate reporting duties.

 Your Challenge

  • Provide support to operations by overseeing the purchase of equipment and supplies on an ongoing basis. Support corporate purchasing initiatives such as Zycus.

  • Assist in putting together appropriations requests for capital expenditures. This may include identifying manufacturers, obtaining quotes and assist in completing spreadsheets and supporting documents.

  • Work with CW HR to manage the search, interviewing process and hiring of site personnel.

  • Assist managers and supervisors with maintaining required documents and files for human resources.

  • Provide support for training and assist in the administration and deployment of the training academy modules.

  • Assist in maintaining operational metrics and providing support for putting together presentations for upper management.

  • Serve as backup to the supervisors for the technical report specialist group and the inside sales group.

  • Assist accounting to ensure that payroll is accurate and approved on time.

  • Provide accounting support as required by the site controller

  • Maintain all job descriptions, postings and supporting documents used for the purposes of hiring.

  • Work with CW HR to process PARs and REQ's for hiring. Maintain job interview files and other related hiring documents required by CW HR.

  • Work with CW HR to manage the search, interviewing process and hiring of new employees. Manage the process of hiring temporary workers through local, CW and national temporary agencies.

  • Handle all onboarding and off boarding of employees.

  • Schedule and organize biometric screening and other HR functions.

  • Coordinate the process of putting together presentations for company meetings and schedule accordingly. Update changes in benefits and payroll for employees as they occur.

  • Assist accounting in managing worker's compensation, LOA's and FMLA.

  • Perform tasks as required by business unit manager, site controller and other members of senior management.

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience

  • Oral, written, communication and presentation skills.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as other software used to put together presentations.
