The Opportunity | Payroll Supervisor

As Payroll Supervisor, you will serve as the Corporate subject matter expert! You will be accountable for managing the processing of Company payrolls, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State payroll regulations, tax filing deadlines and customer support requirements. You will also be responsible for overseeing the preparation, integrity and disbursement of the Corporation's payrolls. Your Challenge

  • Monitor staff workload on a daily basis

  • Confirm the timely & accurate processing of payroll processing targeting zero defect payroll processing for entire team

  • Assists payroll staff as needed with training and/or issue resolution

  • Identify and recommend improvements to systems/procedures

  • Understand, apply & review controls related to the specific task

  • Maintain Checklist and Procedure documentation for each discrete Payroll Process

  • Administer the COE Payroll Workbench/Helpdesk Portal

  • Administer Dashboard and KPI Reporting

Your Expertise

  • Minimum of 5 years' payroll experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a team leas/supervisor within a payroll environment

  • Highly detail oriented along with advanced Payroll experience

  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional Certification (CPP) preferred

  • Advanced communication along with effective time management skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Advanced use of ADP Enterprise V5, ADP Reporting and ADP eTime

  • Basic Coaching & Motivation Skills and experience motivating employees

  • Familiarity with LEAN/Quality Principles
