The Opportunity | Plant Supervisor

The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for managing activities concerned with day to day operation of the business unit. They will be required to oversee daily operations and tasks in the plant to make sure all goals are met including the hiring and training of all staff. The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for P&L of the business unit, developing a business strategy for the next 5 to 10 years and monitoring employee shifts, schedules and production levels.

Your Challenge

  • Manage the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.

  • Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs.

  • Design and develop organizational policies

  • Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services

  • Responsible for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards.

  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

  • Capable of multi-tasking

Your Expertise

  • Associate's Degree.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.

  • 5-7 years of experience in plant supervision/management within a small to medium sized manufacturing plant.

  • Problem solver.

  • Demonstrates the ability to think creatively and innovatively.

  • Team building management style to ensure best work environment for all employees.
