Job Description

Your Challenge:

  • Works with and handles hazardous materials and waste at work site located in Plating. Responsible for proper handling of Hazardous Waste within this area. (Cadmium Plating, Chrome, Ultrachromate & Fluoboric acid)

  • Set up, operate, and maintain set-ups of grit blast and plating equipment

  • Cleans parts manually, using vapor degrease and grit blast equipment

  • Masks and demasks parts

  • Plates parts to blueprint using manual methods

  • Completes all associated paperwork

  • Identifies parts as specified

  • Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards

  • Maintains acceptable quality and effectiveness levels

  • Performs other duties as required by supervisor

  • Must become CPO qualified

Your Expertise:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, production or plating capacity

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints; follow written instructions and procedures

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Must be available to work 2nd shift; Must be available to work OT as required
