Product Engineering Manager- Power Electronics

The successful candidate will lead our product development effort on high voltage power electronics products. This position will help identify applications for our existing products and define necessary product iterations to our World Traction inverter product for applications in the expanding commercial vehicle market. The Product Engineering Manager will also define the new product roadmap for our Arens Power Electronics team. The candidate will accompany Sales on customer visits and/or Webinars to explain the technical merits of our products. The individual will be integral part of our product development team making sure key design requirements are met.

Your Challenge:

The successful candidate will position our Arens team in the forefront of suppliers for the electrified commercial vehicle fleet that is quickly growing. We are looking for someone passionate in electrification technology who will explain the value proposition of our products and take a customer's needs and distill them down to engineering requirements for our team. In addition, the individual will champion a product roadmap that positions CW to surpass our competitors and positions CW as a product leader in traction inverters and other key components in the high voltage system for FEVs.

Your Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience with defining product roadmaps, estimating project effort and cost, and presenting to large OEM customers
  • 10+ years in a product development environment, preferably in automotive or industrial markets
  • Experience in developing power electronics; motor control applications desired
  • Knowledge of vehicle powertrain systems, in particular high voltage battery electric vehicles
  • Knowledge or experience of systems engineering preferred especially with hybrid or electric vehicle systems
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
