Job Description

 JOB SUMMARY:



  • Responsible for planning and organizing of stages of production, including raw materials and finished hardware procurements, and the release to manufacture for the assembly of programs.

  • Responsible for maintaining inventories. Oversees timely issuance of manufacture orders to support program needs.

  • Responsible for establishing production schedules for a wide variety of manufactured products involving diversified piece parts and assemblies, to conform to program schedules.

  • Responsible of preparation and maintenance of various reports, regarding schedules as to the status of production, procurements and inventories.

  • Identifies bottlenecks to be resolved by applicable personnel, including program managers. Follow-up and control production schedules.

  • Supervise maintenance of parts, inventory control and applicable records.

  • Makes periodically review of shop workloads versus capacity. Consults with Manufacturing including recommendation for need to send work outside when applicable.

  • Prepares periodic status reports to keep management informed. Schedules meeting with applicable personnel to resolve manufacturing and procurement problems.

  • Assist and instructs subordinates on detail of work as necessary to ensure adherence and compliance with Quality and Company procedures.

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

 JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:



  • Five (5) years of Manufacturing Requirement Planning (MRP) and supervision of Production, Expediting, and Scheduling.

  • Capable to read and understand bills of materials, blueprint reading, supportive manufacture documentation, Engineering Releases, Sales Orders, Shop Orders, Requisitions and Purchasing Orders, Operation Sheets and Shop Travels and others.

EDUCATION / TRAINING:



  • College degree preferred-- Bachelor of Science

  • MS Office
