The Opportunity | Production Lead Supervisor (Evening Shift)


Provides leadership to a group responsible for the Manufacture or Repair of company products. Responsible for executing key business metric initiatives and production supervising strategies.



Your Challenge:



  • Provides input in selecting and developing people. Works with Team Leaders to plan, assign, and monitor individual objectives of unit members, based on overall group objectives and priorities.

  • Responsible for providing timely and useful feedback to Team Leaders and staff members on their performance.

  • Applies knowledge and coaching skills to lead team in maintaining and enhancing a high level of volume and quality production. Participates in the group's work by overseeing and advising others, or by contributing directly to the development of more complex solutions.

  • Defines requirements, plans, schedules resources effectively, monitors achievement and costs, and removes barriers to the group's success. Provides guidance and advice to group members relating to their approach and methodology in pursuing their assigned responsibilities. Helps to co-ordinate the schedule of deliverables agreed to for the unit overall.

  • Oversees the Evening shift and midnight shift personal

  • Provides facility security for the evening shift and passes any information off onto the midnight shift guard




Your Expertise:



  • 3+ years Production Supervising experience preferably in a Defense manufacturing environment.

  • Requires a post-secondary degree or College diploma.

  • Solid understanding of SMT manufacturing processes, including Test and Troubleshooting activities;

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills;

  • Excellent organization, planning, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • High customer and quality focus

  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 3:45pm to 12:15am
