The Opportunity | Program Manager


Reporting to: Stratford, ON Canada 


Based In: Nogales, MX and Arizona



Under minimal supervision, manage production programs to meet Customer and CW expectations including schedule, recurring and non-recurring cost, and technical performance. Develop and ensure compliance to master project plans, budgets and schedules. Guide others to ensure successful completion of project on time and on budget, while developing solutions to project challenges.




Your Challenge




  • Act as the main customer point of contact for assigned project issues

  • Ensure that all departments follow the defined transfer process

  • Ensure all project and product quality requirements are met

  • Assemble, track and communicate project plans and reports accurately and on time

  • Raise roadblocks and non-compliances to appropriate levels in timely fashion

  • Manage and mitigate scope, cost and schedule creep

  • Develop and manage risk mitigation plans

  • Participate and when required, lead internal and external project/program meetings

  • Interface effectively with Customers to build confidence in our ability to deliver

  • Coordinate resources from the different internal and external participants to ensure project success

  • Develop internal and external capabilities to support growth and development

  • Maximize customer and employee satisfaction

  • Provide internal leadership to the organization



Your Expertise




  • Bachelor degree with industry or military experience in an Operations or Engineering capacity; a combination of education and experience will be considered

  • PMP certification preferred

  • 5+ years aerospace/electromechanical project management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others

  • Ability to manage multiple development programs and priorities

  • Skill and tact in managing internal and external relationships

  • Working knowledge of financials and how to impact results

  • Technical innovation to help shape the future for CW and the market

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency with computers and business software

  • Goal-oriented with the capability to meet dynamic deadlines

  • Preference for those with bi-lingual English-Spanish oral and written skills
