Role: Project Engineer
Location: Brea, CA
As a Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support the project team in developing a design, structuring the project, and creating additional customer deliverables) as well as providing technical support on the back end of the projects.
Your Challenges:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs. Write performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.

  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Study processes to determine where and how application of equipment can be

  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Assist in developing the structural design of products, and provide feedback to design engineers on customer problem

  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew. Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning accordingly

  • May establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule, and supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.

  • Coordinate with other areas of engineering to assure contractual requirements are met. Conduct product improvement programs toward minimizing costs, improving performance and promoting standardization.

  • Investigate field problems and provide corrective action in terms of component redesign, revised operating procedures or maintenance practices.
Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years in related experience

  • Prior experience in valves design and manufacturability

  • Experience with 3D modeling ie. Solidworks is an asset

  • Strong Oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent Organization and presentation skills

  • Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines
