The Opportunity | Purchasing Clerk
Duties include performing a variety of complex administrative duties related to purchasing activities. Activities require skilled communication, detailed computer entries, and general standard office administration duties.




Your Challenge:



  • Supplier Process Procedures. Review, submit, request and create. Expedite internally Quality/Engineering and externally/Customer. Maintain supplier procedure database. Run daily and weekly reports. Scanning/Importing submittals and forwarding dispositioned VPRF's

  • Create or modify Purchase Orders in the system when requested by a Purchasing associate.

  • PBL Administrator.

  • Create PO Files & Close-Out year end files

  • Maintain Purchase Order and P.O. acknowledgements dates. Scan supplier acknowledgments.

  • Submit semi-annual Individual and Summary Subcontract reports via Government website eSRS to Customers, DCMA, and the Small Business Administration.

  • Supplier annual mailings for Equal Opportunity Compliance/buyer may request with new PO

  • New Supplier Creations, Scanning

  • New Supplier A/P ACH Payments, Scanning

  • Online New Supplier Visual Compliance, Scanning.

  • Maintain Purchasing Reference Guide

  • Maintain QMP1006 creation & revisions to

  • Create & Maintain purchasing forms files via Foxit software

  • Special projects example: Annual Inventory Letters, Annual Industrial Based Surveys.

  • Various Oracle & Discoverer reports



Your Expertise:



  • Minimum of two (2) years office administration position.

  • High School Graduate or Equivalency (GED), a college degree in Business Administration is preferred.

  • Annual successful completion of professional and/or educational training which enhances the associate's skills is mandatory.

  • Computer knowledge includes Oracle, Word-QMP1006, Excel-Required for SBA, and Foxit-Required for All Purchasing Fill-In Forms.

  • Organized person with strong detailed entry skills

  • Strong Communication skills
