Job Description

The Opportunity | Quality Control Supervisor

Under direction of QA Manager, organize and coordinate the Quality Control activities to ensure the compliance of PTC policies and customer requirements. Assist on the maintenance of the Quality Management System as directed by QA Manager.

Your Challenge

  • Control and direct all transportation into and out of the facility to meet customer service standards, Incoming, in-process and final inspections

  • Enforcing procedures and policies

  • Facilitating the compliance of ESD program

  • Enforcing EH&S and other CW policies with QC personnel and throughout the sites

  • Educating and training of production members as related to Quality Control and customer's requirements.

  • Measuring and testing results

  • Authorizing and issuing Certificates of Compliances

  • Assisting on the direct supervision of QC staff

  • Communicating with customers regarding nonconforming material and/or product/ process requirements.

  • Assisting during root cause analysis and other quality issues

  • Acting as liaison during customer and third-party audits

  • Working with production leads and/ manager to the daily schedule.

  • Supporting Engineering group on the processing of first article and/ or engineering runs.

Your Expertise

  • 3 years of work experience in a production work environment, to include supervision of QC personnel and planning of resources as necessary.

  • PCB and/or Medical Device experience desired. Parylene experience a plus.

  • Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO13485

  • Experience with support internal, customers and third-party audits

  • Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office.

  • Knowledge of Quality and statistical improvement tools.

  • High School or GED diploma at minimum. AA degree or more college is desired.

  • AS9100 and/or ISO13485 internal auditor is desirable.

Physical requirements:

  • Visual acuity, including color identification

  • Able to lift or move objects weighing up to fifty pounds
