The Opportunity | Inspector


Under minimal supervision, the Inspector performs a wide variety of electro/mechanical inspections of mission critical product in accordance with IPC-610 & IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 requirements. The ideal candidate is familiar with AQL Single/Double Sampling Plan and proficient in the use of mechanical measurement tools such as, calipers, micrometers, height/thread gages etc.


This is a contract role until October 2019.



Major Accountabilities /Deliverables



  • Performs inspections on mission critical product in accordance with manufacturing work instructions, IPC-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620, Class 3 Workmanship standards.

  • Perform Incoming inspection on electronic components in accordance with SCD's and Mil-Standard requirements.

  • Perform dimensional inspections on raw material & mechanical assemblies in accordance with drawing requirements.

  • Work with established procedures and document results

  • Prepares product verification documentation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel based software

Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role

  • Technical/Trade school required. 2 year associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar field preferred.

  • Must have an IPC-610 & IPC/WHMA-620 certifications

  • Ability to read blueprint drawings

  • Experience in defense electronics preferred

  • Must be familiar with PC's
