Senior Financial Analyst

Provide in-depth financial analysis on the monthly forecasts, the annual operating budget and 3-year strategic plan, as well as other periodic financial reports, interpreting results and making recommendations to management. Develop, analyze and evaluate ad hoc reports to identify potential areas of risks and opportunities for management.

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Your Challenge:

• Perform the necessary analyses each month on the forecast data to ensure the commentary provided adequately explains the variances to the prior month's forecast.
• Provide other monthly reporting and analysis such as Key Metrics, Risks & Opportunities and Capital Expenditures and provide commentary for significant variances.
• Assist with the preparation of the quarterly analysis files, including the Analyst Deck and markets reports, and provide support to the Investor Relations and External Reporting departments, as needed.
• Provide the necessary support and perform various analyses, including trend analyses, to evaluate and thoroughly understand the annual budget.
• Assist in the preparation of the Board of Directors presentations and notes.
• Work with other functional areas such as HR, Tax, Treasury and Supply Chain, as needed.
• Ad hoc reporting, analysis and projects for management such as:
• Margin analysis
• Cost analysis
• Peer benchmarking
• Acquisition analysis

Your Expertise:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• CPA or MBA a plus
• 5+ years of finance, accounting or auditing and 5+ years of financial analysis or related experience (e.g. budget or cost analyst) in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential financial risks and opportunities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, prioritize work, and operate with a sense of urgency
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Oracle or OneStream experience a plus
• Experience with system implementations a plus
