Job Description

The Opportunity | Solderer

Under direct supervision, solders routine electronic modules and wiring. May also perform assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Your Challenge:

  • Follow written process instructions for soldering and maintain output at expected levels.

  • Provide documentation as required (accounting, product documentation, record logs, etc.).

  • May assemble components to a final configured product utilizing process and drawing instructions and blueprints and specialized tooling and fixtures, measuring equipment and hand tools.

  • May build and test wire harnesses, switches, and solder connectors.

Your Expertise:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an electrical assembly and/or soldering role.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Soldering certification is a strong asset.
