Your Challenge:



  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policy

  • Ownership of all preparer tasks for the assigned functional accounting areas, including accurate and timely preparation of journal entries and relevant supporting documentation.

  • Prepare properly supported balance sheet reconciliations timely and accurately; investigate and resolve reconciling differences in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency.

  • Create and maintain documentation of processes and procedures.



Your Expertise:



  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with peers, and cross-functionally within the company.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (PivotTables, Vlookups, macros, formulas, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and technical accounting research skills

  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, deadline driven, and ability to communicate effectively

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX

  • BS/BA Degree in Accounting

  • 4-6 years relevant Accounting experience required.

  • Knowledge and experience with payroll accounting, intercompany accounting, fixed asset accounting and/or general ledger.
