Job Description


The Opportunity | Technical Trainer


The Technical Trainer will be responsible for all aspects of technical training for FAST Centers and customers. The position reports to the Global Aftermarket Manager. Major duties include: develop and conduct training for FAST Center and customer valve technicians, organize and maintain materials needed for training, conduct audits at FAST Centers worldwide.



Your Challenge


  • Develop a multi-level training and recertification program for FAST Center and customer valve technicians.

  • Conduct multi-level training for FAST Center and customer valve technicians, both in house and onsite.

  • Maintain and update Assembler and Maintenance training manuals

  • Organize all aspects training sessions including, but not limited to, setting and announcing dates for training, ensuring training materials are available where and when needed, arranging for personal travel, and arranging for any needed refreshments.

  • Assist in updating and maintaining product Maintenance Manuals

  • Travel to FAST Center and customer locations when necessary to conduct training.

  • Conduct audits for new FAST Centers and recertification audits for existing FAST Centers

  • Assist in onboarding process for new FAST Centers

  • Other duties as required.


Your Expertise



  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline, preferred

  • 1-2 years Pressure Relief Valve experience required

  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and within tight deadlines

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel programs

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Willing to travel worldwide up to 50% of the time

  • Team player


Measures of Success:



  • Technically strong FAST Center network

  • Smooth onboarding of new FAST Centers

  • Favorable responses to Technical Training questionnaires of 4 or better.
