Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer at our Santa Clarita, CA facility.  As a Test Engineer in Curtiss-Wright you will design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting our systems and equipment. You will prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products. Tasked with planning the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices, you will ensure our leading edge products are fit for purpose.

Major Accountabilities / Deliverables:

  • Performs a wide variety of routine and semi-routine tasks related to the testing of raw materials, manufactured products or manufacturing processes.

  • Writes and designs test procedures.

  • Reviews and evaluates test failures, in-process rejections and trends, recommending corrective action as appropriate.

  • Provides assistance in the areas of predictability, manufacturing processing, equipment and process improvement.


  • Bachelors Degree of Engineering

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role/environment

  • 2+ years experience product development, product testing, or testing equipment.

  • Oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office

  • Organization, and presentation skills

  • Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines
