Inside Sales Specialist

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for support representative accounts as well as oversee all aspects of the inside sales team functions. Serve as a Representative dealing with internal and external customers including factories and vendors on day-to-day business matters. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing requests for quotations, diagnosing customer's needs, selecting products including product conversions, interpreting engineering specifications, sizing valves and instruments, troubleshooting, determining materials needed on projects, obtaining bids from vendors and/or contractors, writing and submitting final quotations in accordance with established guidelines, processing purchase orders, coordinating assembly and/or repair of products with production, ensuring timely execution of order, and ensuring payment is collected for products and services rendered.

Your Challenge:

  • Responds to customer needs in a quick and effective manner. Cultivate culture of outstanding customer service. Handle and resolves escalated calls. Monitors and follows up with quotes as required.
  • Performs and provides assistance to all areas of the department and to customers related to quoting, order entry, scheduling, and product sizing and selection
  • Coordinates activities between Customer Service Reps and operational areas within the company (eg. Material, engineering, manufacturing, quality, shipping, etc.) and provides direction and guidance.
  • Research problems and solutions including but not limited to customer's needs, factory issues, production and scheduling needs, and Terms and Conditions issues.
  • Provides support to Sr. Management on various work initiatives.

Your Expertise:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Inside Sales Specialist
  • Experience in the Valve manufacturing industry is preferred

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must meet eligibility requirements of the ITAR and of the Controlled Goods Directorate (CDG) and/or a Canadian government security clearance.
