Material Planner in Neuhausen am Rheinfall at Curtiss-Wright

We are looking for a Material Planner to join our Nehausen am Rhine Falls facility. Here, we specialise in drive technology for land vehicle applications such as turret aiming and stabilization drive systems, camera crane stabilization, train tilting and ammunition loading. 

You will be responsible for the order planning and control of the allocated series and prototype projects, including the scheduling, fine-tuning and schedule monitoring of our production orders. You will plan and control production orders, spare parts and repair orders, taking into account capacity planning and working closely with Assembly & Purchasing.

By monitoring our production end dates and implementing necessary corrective measures you will ensure our schedules are met. You are responsible for determining and setting delivery dates and tracking deadlines as well as the point of contact for all internal interfaces to inform about any schedule changes.

Your Challenge:

  • Develops, maintains schedules and material requirements lists, for products, proposal efforts and/or production processes.

  • Provides input to management regarding problems such as scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes and backlogs.

  • Releases and maintains all appropriate paperwork.

Skills and Experience: 

  • 4-6 years experience in a similar role

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
