The Opportunity | Process Engineer

Under close supervision, supports engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification and assembly of different types of systems, devices and/or equipment. Works with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Serve as the "champion" of all internal continuous improvement programs and initiatives.

Your Challenge

* Performs routine engineering assignments of an analysis, design and test nature requiring application of specific techniques and procedures.

* Documents usable engineering data applicable to the assignment.

* Assist in the analysis to develop options or recommendations and assist or lead in the development of cost estimates and specifications on projects.

* Provide leadership and direction in regards to all process quoting operations.

* Assist in the leadership of all 3D printing initiatives.

* Serve as the facility lead and representative on all Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Your Expertise

* Associate degree but prefer Bachelor degree Engineering or related field

* At least a year of experience in performing engineering related assignments including analysis, design and tests.

* Experience in providing process quoting operations including developing of cost estimates and specifications is an asset.

* Demonstrated ability to plan and execute multiple priorities.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
