The Opportunity | Quality Control Inspector

Under the supervision of the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Inspector is to inspect finished products, electronics enclosures and consoles for the Defense Industry.

Major Accountabilities /Deliverables

  • Pull drawings per piece parts and pull drawings for final assembly

  • Approve finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.

  • Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work.

  • Document, update and maintain quality inspection records by completing reports and logs.

  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

  • Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to both Quality Control Manager and Production Managers.


  • 3-5 years' in Quality Control Inspection of manufactured and assembled products preferably in electronics enclosures and consoles

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies.

  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.

  • Ability to read drawings, inspect parts and assemblies per drawings.

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Certificate or Technical Training Qualification or Associates Degree; a plus
