Peerless Instrument was founded in 1939. In1954 it began a long service to the U.S. Navy and continues to comply with MIL-Q-9858A, MIL-I-45208, and IPC/EIA J-STD-001 specifications. Peerless utilizes the BAAN Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. In addition, Engineering has a Pro-Engineering program resource to enhance 3-D design and improve design visualization. We continue our tradition of designing and manufacturing advanced, innovative electronics for military and industrial markets. Quality Control Supervisor

We are growing and have a great opportunity for a Quality Control Supervisor!

As the Quality Control Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of the QC inspection department.

Your Challenge

• Provide oversight of day to day operations for the QC Inspection Department
• Assign daily tasks
• Maintain calibration of inspection equipment
• Manage inspection backlog
• Provide technical guidance to the inspection department personnel
• Generate inspection reports
• Create and maintain Quality Control procedures
• Interface with other departments
• Support source inspection when required
• Interface with suppliers

Your Expertise

• Complete understanding of MIL-Q-9858A or Equivalent Quality Program Requirement Specification
• IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 Certification
• Experience Working with Quality, Manufacturing, and Test Processes
• Must be able to Interpret Mechanical Detail and Assembly Drawings
• Must have good communication skills (oral and written)
• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Must have a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience, or high school diploma with ten years of experience
• Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance (condition of employment)
