Location: Mississauga, ON

Candidates must be available for training on the day shift (7:30 am-4:00 pm) before moving to the afternoon shift. The afternoon shift runs Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am.

Your Challenge:

  • Operate sandblasting equipment and equipment used for surface finishing
  • Follow blueprints and work instruction to prepare materials
  • Maintain accurate records of usage sandblast medium

Your Expertise:

  • Minimum 1 year of industrial sandblasting experience using various blast mediums
  • Experience working in a paint shop environment
  • Ability to blast components to drawing requirements in an accurate and cost-effective manner
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and work orders
  • Able to prepare material using various processes including chemical etching and sandblasting
  • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, plate clamps

All successful applicants must be eligible to meet the requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and/or a Canadian government security clearance.

This position may require exposure to information that is subject to US export control regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
